Driving nationwide execution and visibility across nearly 2,000 convenience stores
When inconsistent availability and merchandising created gaps at the shelf, a leading consumer products brand partnered with Survey to improve execution across nearly 2,000 convenience store locations nationwide.
A leading consumer products brand needed a scalable way to confirm promotional signage was properly placed, active, and visible across a national convenience retail network. With nearly 2,000 locations in scope, the brand needed confidence that promotional execution was happening consistently in store, especially at the point of purchase.
The team also needed to identify inventory gaps, low-stock conditions, and out-of-stock risks that could limit sales performance. Because their internal team did not have the bandwidth to closely review every store-level data point, the reporting experience needed to make the most important issues easier to find, filter, and act on.
Survey deployed a national retail execution program across 1,991 convenience store locations, combining store-level visibility with hands-on execution.
Field teams:
Audited shelves to evaluate product availability and merchandising conditions
Identified out-of-stock and low-stock inventory issues
Restocked available product and corrected inventory discrepancies
Identified and executed cut-in opportunities to expand shelf presence
Installed branded POSM to strengthen visibility at the point of purchase
Captured photo validation to verify execution
Survey also coordinated the distribution of marketing materials for installation in the field.
Through real-time reporting and photo validation, the brand gained greater visibility into execution quality, inventory conditions, and store-level opportunities across its retail network.
184 distribution opportunities captured
Improved product availability
Field teams identified and executed 184 cut-in opportunities, expanding product presence at the shelf.
427 units restocked to help address shelf availability issues. Inventory corrections were completed during visits helping resolve inventory discrepancies contributing to low-stock and out-of-stock conditions.
