Mission and Survey Deliver Nationwide
Display Execution at The Home Depot

Maximizing seasonal sales opportunities through coordinated field execution.

The challenge

Mission relies on seasonal display programs to drive product visibility and sales during peak demand periods at The Home Depot. Each year, pre-stocked displays are shipped to stores for placement on the sales floor, but many never make it out of receiving, backstock, or overstock areas. When displays remain off the sales floor, shopper visibility decreases and valuable seasonal sales opportunities can be missed.

Without a scalable way to identify, locate, and install displays across a large retail footprint, Mission faced a common retail execution challenge: products were in-store but not shopper-ready. Mission needed greater visibility into display status, faster resolution of execution gaps, and confidence that its seasonal merchandising investments were reaching consumers.

Mission needed a solution to:

  • Identify displays that had not been placed on the sales floor
  • Resolve execution gaps through rapid in-store action
  • Ensure merchandising standards were met
  • Improve visibility into execution performance
  • Maximize product visibility during peak seasonal demand periods

The Solution

Mission partnered with Survey to execute a nationwide display activation program designed to maximize seasonal sales opportunities at The Home Depot. Together, the teams combined store-level visibility, field execution, and performance reporting to ensure displays reached the sales floor and were shopper-ready during critical selling periods.

Survey’s nationwide Flexforce field team located misplaced displays, coordinated with store personnel, secured placement approvals, and ensured displays were properly assembled, merchandised, and compliant with program standards. Throughout the initiative, Mission and Survey collaborated to enhance reporting, incorporating evolving business requirements and additional tracking needs as new priorities emerged.

By connecting visibility, action, and reporting, Mission and Survey were able to identify execution gaps, rapidly resolve in-store issues, and improve display availability and product visibility across The Home Depot store network.
